Nassau County anniversaries, July 7

70thJOAN AND BILL LEUNIG of Syosset were wed June 7, 1943, at the Visitation Roman Catholic Church in Red Hook, Brooklyn, where they grew up. Bill was drafted into the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers 11 days later, accepted for pilot training and sent to the Tennessee Polytechnic College in Cooksville, Tenn., where his wife joined him. After the war Bill returned to New York and joined the New York City Fire Department. He worked there for 32 years, retiring as a captain. Joan and Bill, both in their 90s, have three children, eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

60thCAMILLA AND CHARLES SERVEDIO of Toms River, N.J., formerly of Massapequa, were wed June 21, 1953. They celebrated at a dinner with family and at a daughter's home. They both recently celebrated their 80th birthdays and enjoy spending time in Atlantic City. They have three children, six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

50thDIANE AND WILLIAM VESELY of Williston Park were wed June 8, 1963, at St. Fidelis Church in College Point. They celebrated with a dinner at The Milleridge Inn in Jericho on June 23. A cruise to Canada is planned for September. They enjoy spending time with their two children and four grandchildren.

50thMARILYN AND JOHN BOHAN of Northport were wed June 15, 1963, at St. Luke's Church in Whitestone, Queens. A family trip to Yellowstone National Park and Jackson Hole, Wyo., is planned. John is a retired maintenance supervisor with United Airlines. Marilyn retired as an executive assistant at Arrow Electronics in Melville. They have four daughters, four sons-in-law and nine grandchildren.

25thJAMES AND DINA CERASO (on left) AND JEFF AND CAROL CERASO -- from Hicksville -- celebrated with their families. Jeff and Carol were wed Feb. 20, 1988. James and Dina were married on June 25, 1988. Jeff and Carol have a daughter and a son. James and Dina have three daughters. Jeff and James both own their own business.
