Nassau County anniversaries, Nov. 3:

70thALICE (THEISEN) AND CARL SPATT, residents of Baldwin for 62 years, were wed Oct. 17, 1943, at Alice's parents' house in St. Albans, Queens. They celebrated with close friends and family at a catered dinner in their home on Oct. 18. Carl, with his father-in-law and brother-in-law, established T&S Brass and Bronze, a plumbing and laboratory supply company. They have four children and two grandchildren.

65thVIRGINIA AND RAYMOND LEONHARD of Mineola were wed Oct. 9, 1948, at St. George's Episcopal Church in Flushing, Queens. Raymond is a retired Nassau County police lieutenant. Virginia is a retired private secretary for Sperry Gyroscope. They have two children, two grandchildren and a great-grandson.

60thFRANCES AND JOHN HEALYof Copiague, formerly of Richmond Hill, Queens, were wed Oct. 3, 1953, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Richmond Hill. John is a retired New York City firefighter and a New York City teacher in Richmond Hill. Fran is a retired registered nurse at Jamaica Hospital. They have seven children, 19 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

50thALFONSINA AND SALVATORE DE LUCIA were wed Sept. 30, 1963, in Durazzano, a small town in southern Italy. They have spent their entire married life living in Westbury, moving three times over the years and never having to change their phone number or ZIP code. A small family celebration was held at Cafe Formaggio in Westbury. A vacation to the Bahamas is planned for the spring with their two children and two grandchildren. They recently purchased a home in Port St. Lucie, Fla., and spend the winter there with family and friends.


KAMINSKY of East Meadow were wed Oct. 28, 1978. A cruise is planned for February. Howard is a retired electrician from Local 3. Laurie works for the Uniondale schools. They have two children and a grandson.
