65thLOUISE AND SALVATORE LETTIERIof Suffolk County were wed Aug. 21, 1948, at St. Benedict Joseph Labre Church in Richmond Hill, Queens. They celebrated at a party held at their daughter's home. Louise retired from Suffolk County Department of Social Services. Sal is a veteran of the U.S. Navy and retired from the Suffolk County Police Department. They have six children, 15 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

60thTHERESA AND JOHN MAURO, residents of Hicksville for 51 years, were wed July 11, 1953, at Our Lady of Loreto RC Church in Brooklyn. They renewed vows before Bishop William Murphy at Maria Regina RC Church in Seaford, followed by dinner with family and friends. Theresa is an avid bowler. John is a retired detective from the New York City Police Department, a Korean War veteran, and a member of the Knights of Columbus, American Legion and Catholic War Veterans. They have four children and two grandchildren.

50thANTHONY AND JO-ANN MONACO of Bethpage were wed June 8, 1963. They celebrated by renewing vows at St. Theresa Church in the Bronx. A family dinner followed at the Villa Barone Restaurant in Pelham Bay. They have two daughters and five grandchildren. They both are retired.


RIEMENSPERGER of Franklin Square were wed May 11, 1963, at All Saints Lutheran Church in Jamaica, Queens. They celebrated with a Caribbean cruise joined by their three children, their spouses and 12 grandchildren.

50thPAULA AND SHELDON BROWNof East Northport were wed June 30, 1963, in Brooklyn. They celebrated in Manhattan at the Brasserie restaurant, where they had their engagement party 51 years ago. The celebration continued with a family cruise and tour of Alaska. Sheldon is an engineer at BAE Systems in Greenlawn. Paula is a fine artist, mural painter and art teacher. They have two sons.


RIDGWELL of Hicksville were wed Aug. 18, 1973, in New Hyde Park. They celebrated with a trip to Paradise Island, Bahamas, where they honeymooned. Nancy and Mark are both retired from Verizon. They have one son and a granddaughter.
