Nassau County anniversaries, Sept. 22

72ndCONCETTA AND EMANUEL CAPPELLOof Lake Grove were wed Sept. 7, 1941, at Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Corona, Queens. They celebrated with a renewal of vows at St. Dominic Church in Oyster Bay followed by a family dinner. They have two children, five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

65thANN AND EDWARD HOSEKof Levittown were wed on Sept. 18, 1948, at St. James Lutheran Community Church in Stewart Manor. They celebrated with family and friends at a backyard party given by their children. They have seven children, 20 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

60thCATHERINE AND JULIUS KELLERof Copiague were wed Aug. 30, 1953, at St. Martha's Church in Uniondale. They celebrated with a family dinner, hosted by their daughters and their spouses. Julius is a Navy veteran. He retired from Grumman Aerospace in Bethpage. They have three daughters and five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

55thMAY AND HAROLD CRONK of East Williston were wed Sept. 6, 1958. They celebrated with a dinner at La Marmite in Williston Park. Harold retired from Prudential Insurance in 2003 after 37 years. May is a registered nurse. They have one son and a granddaughter.

50thREEVA AND BERNIE BROOKS of Westbury wed Aug. 24, 1963, at the Queens Village Jewish Center. They renewed their vows at Temple Sholom in Westbury. Bernie retired as a printing salesman. Reeva retired as a junior high school science teacher in New York City. They have two children and two grandchildren.


FLEMING of Point Lookout and Port St. Lucie, Fla., were wed June 29, 1963. They celebrated at their daughter's home in Rockville Centre with family and friends. The party was hosted by their three children, their spouses and 11 grandchildren. Greg retired from CIGNA and Liberty Mutual insurance. Rosemary retired from Suffolk County Community College.
