Cops: 230 cellphones worth $100G stolen from T-Mobile store in Hicksville

Nassau County police are investigating the burglary Thursday night of a Hicksville T-Mobile store, where two men stole a safe and 230 cellphones.

An employee arrived to open the store at 535 South Broadway to find the alarm disabled, police said. The worker discovered that a safe containing the cellphones and an undetermined amount of money was missing.

The phones are valued at more than $100,000, according to police.

Video surveillance shows two men inside the store at 12:50 a.m. Police describe one of the men as a male with dark hair, unshaven and wearing a gray Adidas jacket. The other is also unshaven with dark hair, wearing light clothing and a backpack, according to police.
