Three men and two women were arrested Monday in connection with the Sunday night robbery of an acquaintance at his home in Massapequa Park, police said.

The five were arrested after an investigation by Nassau County police Seventh Squad detectives. The victim, identified only as a 24-year-old man, was not injured, police said.

Police identified those arrested as: Nicholas Vairo, 21, of 208 Wantagh Ave., Levittown; Michael Myers, 21, of 3635 Tonopah St., Seaford; Rajiv M. Singh, 19, of 2496 N. Jerusalem Rd., North Bellmore; Melina James, 18, of 31 Sanford St., Huntington Station; and Jessica Taylor Corsale, 20, of 274 Seaford Ave., Massapequa. Each was charged with first-degree robbery.

Additionally, Myers was charged with one count and Singh was charged with two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Police said that on Sunday evening the three men, all of whom knew the victim, entered his home on Broadway at about 7:15 p.m. About 20 minutes later, police said, Vairo "displayed a handgun" -- and demanded that the victim hand over his wallet, ordering him to the floor. Vairo then took cash from the wallet, as well as a computer tablet and two Xbox controllers, police said. Then, police said, the three men fled the house and got into Corsale's 1996 Geo Prism, where she and James were waiting for the trio.

All five then fled.

Police said the stolen items were recovered during the arrests. All five suspects are scheduled for arraignment Tuesday in First District Court in Hempstead.
