He wore sunglasses and a wool cap with a snowflake design on it to rob a TD Bank branch last month in Merrick, Nassau County police said.

Now, police are seeking help in identifying the bank robber -- asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at 800-244-TIPS or the Robbery Squad at 516-573-8040.

Police said the robbery occurred at the bank branch on Merrick Road just before 10 a.m. on Nov. 24. The robber, believed to be in his 20s or early 30s, is described as being about 6-foot tall with a thin build.

Police said he handed a demand note to the teller, got the money -- and then fled north through the parking lot of a nearby CVS drug store.

There were six employees in the bank, as well as four customers, at the time of the robbery. Police said no one was injured in the robbery.

It was not clear how much money was taken.

Callers are eligible for a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information leading to an arrest.
