Nassau County police arrested Bianca Flores, 25, of East Rockaway on Saturday, July 12, 2014 for driving while intoxicated with a small child in her car after she got into two accidents. An East Rockaway woman was charged on Saturday with driving while intoxicated with a small child in her car after she got into two collisions, Nassau County police said.

Police responding to a call reporting an auto crash on Riverside Drive just before 9:30 p.m. said they found Bianca Flores, 25, with a 6-year-old girl in a 2013 Honda that had just been in a collision.

Police said they discovered that Flores had been in another auto crash in Lynbrook just before the Rockville Centre crash, but had left the scene.

Flores was arrested and charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated with a child under 15, also known as Leandra's Law, first-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, endangering the welfare of a child, driving while intoxicated and leaving the scene of an auto accident.

She was scheduled to be arraigned on Sunday at First District Court in Hempstead.
