Police are searching for a hit-and-run driver who fatally struck a man Wednesday night on Park Boulevard inside Eisenhower Park in East Meadow.
Nassau County police said the crash occurred before 9:15 p.m., when a driver traveling northbound through the park reported a body “partially in the roadway.” Police said the man, who has not been identified, is believed to be white or Hispanic and was in his 20s.
He was pronounced dead at Nassau University Medical Center, police said.
Police said he is the victim of “an apparent hit-and-run” and that investigators are now searching for the driver.
