Nassau detectives on Friday said new felony charges have been filed in a months-long investigation into a series of armed robberies of Radio Shack and T-Mobile stores in and near Hempstead Village.

The heists may have involved as many as five men, police have said. So far only two suspects have been arrested and it was against them that the police filed 14 new felony charges this week. That brings the total felony count to 40 against the two.

The suspects are Jamar Parker, 28, of 200 Cornell St., Hempstead Village, and KaJuan Crawley, 25, of 314 Halsey St., Bedford-Stuyvesant, Brooklyn. The two face arraignment next week at First District Court, Hempstead.

Robbery Squad detectives say Parker and Crawley were involved in the June robberies of a T-Mobile store in Hempstead and a Radio Shack in Westbury.
