Nassau County police said Wednesday they are looking for Agdnan McLeod, a suspect in an August shooting death in Hempstead Village.

Homicide detectives described McLeod, 6-foot tall with a medium build and a mustache, as armed and dangerous. Police said he is known as Agg and also goes by the alias Duffle Bag Agg.

Police also released photographs of the suspect, who is wanted in the Aug. 1, 2012 shooting death of Ramel Blanco, 29, of Hempstead Village.

Nassau police and Hempstead Village police identified the victim as Blanco.

Blanco was shot at 8:10 p.m., on Lawson Street, near Pierson Avenue, police said. A 911 caller had reported hearing shots fired, and at least two people who lived in area also said they heard the shots but thought it was firecrackers going off, according to an Aug. 2, 2012, Newsday story.

Police said McLeod has been seen in New York City, Nassau County and Atlanta and is known to have ties to the "rap industry."

McLeod's last known address was Park Place in Uniondale, in October of last year, police said.
