A 72-year-old woman driving a 2001 Buick on North Jerusalem Avenue near the intersection of Gardeners Avenue in Levittown crashed at 3:40 p.m. Wednesday into the rear of a school bus containing 20 handicapped adults as the bus was slowed down as it approached the intersection, police said.

The 20 bus passengers and the bus driver were not injured, Nassau police said, but the Wantagh woman, who was cut from the trapped car by police and volunteer firefighters, was taken to Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow for treatment after she complained of neck pain. There were no charges or summons issued.
