Demolition begins in Glen Cove Village Square

Demolition began in the Village Square area of downtown Glen Cove on Sept. 7, 2017, to make way for a new apartment and retail complex. The Glen Cove IDA has approved $1.24 million in mortgage and sales tax exemptions for RXR Realty, which will undetake the project. (Credit: Howard Schnapp)
