Three people have been arrested in connection with two burglaries last week in Rockville Centre.

Fabrice Lafleur and Jashira Rodriguez, both 23, of 3337 Harbor Point Rd., and John Robinson, also 23, of 544 Grant Ave., were charged with burglary. In addition Lefleur was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Robinson was being held in the Nassau County Jail with bail set at $100,000 cash or bond and Lafleur and Rodriguez were held with bail set at $8,000 cash or bond.

Police said case officers received a call shortly after noon on Friday about a suspicious vehicle at the corner of Raymond Street and Sherman Avenue. Officers found Lafleur and Rodriguez in a 1995 BMW with an undisclosed amount of a controlled substance, which police did not identify.

During the investigation, the officers heard a resident on Sherman Avenue call out for police and saw a man running from the house with a bag and getting into a vehicle to flee. Police said officers determined the two suspects in the car were working with the fleeing man, later identified as Robinson, who was found at his home and arrested.

Police later determined the defendants were responsible for an additional burglary on Rutland Road in Rockville Centre on Wednesday. The details of that case were not immediately available.

The investigation is ongoing, police said.
