More than five years after two Westbury men were gunned down while walking on a Freeport street, Nassau County police and Crime Stoppers are still looking for who might have killed them.

Police said Thursday that they are seeking help in solving the double homicide on April 6, 2009.

Christopher Clark, 22, and Brendan Lawrence, 20, were walking at about 9 p.m. when they were shot to death on the sidewalk in front of 77 Jesse St., police said.

Lawrence's car, a red, two-door 2000 Honda Civic, was found parked on Lakeview Avenue, around the corner from the shooting site.

The victims were longtime friends, and each victim had a girlfriend in Freeport, police told Newsday shortly after the shootings.

Anyone with information can call the Nassau County Homicide Squad at 516-573-7788 or Crime Stoppers at 800-244-8477. Crime Stoppers is offering up to a $10,000 reward for the arrest of the subjects involved.

All calls will be kept confidential.
