Nassau County police have arrested a Freeport man for allegedly making a series of heroin sales over a 10-day span.
Narcotics and vice bureau detectives arrested Roberto A. Vidal, 34, of 28 Lincoln Place, on Friday on the drug charges, and during a vehicle search also found a .32 caliber handgun under the center console.
Police said Vidal made the heroin sales between Feb. 20 and March 1.
Vidal is charged with sale of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and possession of a weapon. He is scheduled to be arraigned Saturday in First District Court in Hempstead.
