Robert Treimanis, 19, of East Meadow, died after the car in which he was a passenger collided head-on with a landscaper's dump truck on North Jerusalem Road in East Meadow.

The family of Robert Treimanis, the 19-year-old killed in a head-on crash with a landscaping truck in East Meadow, has made funeral arrangements.

Visiting hours are from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday at Hempstead Funeral Home, 89 Peninsula Blvd. A funeral Mass is scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday at St. Ladislaus Catholic Church, 18 Richardson Place, Hempstead.

Treimanis, a passenger, was killed in the crash Monday afternoon alongside his friend Stephen Clark, 20, who was driving, police said. Both were from East Meadow.

The pair were traveling in a 2000 Honda Accord, west on North Jerusalem Road, when the car crossed into the eastbound lanes, striking the Mitsubishi truck head-on, police said.
