Groping incident; theft in Bay Shore

Nassau County Police and their Crime Stoppers unit are seeking the public's help in identifying a man in connection with a forcible touching incident that occurred last month in Uniondale.

Police say that at about 5:30 p.m. on Jan. 18, a man fondled the breasts of a woman who was exiting Nassau Coliseum and walking to her car. The subject is described as about 25 years old, 5-foot-11, with a medium build, light complexion, dirty blond hair and a white hat.

Anyone with information is asked to call 1-800-244-TIPS. All calls are kept confidential.

Suffolk County Police and their Crime Stoppers unit are seeking the public's help in identifying and locating a man in connection with a burglary in Bay Shore.

Police say that at about 9:50 p.m. on Nov. 26, a man wearing dark clothing pried open an emergency door in the Target store on Sunrise Highway. Police say he took 65 iPods and one Xbox, with a total value of about $19,000, and fled south on foot through a back lot.
