A 23-year-old man, walking along a street in Massapequa, was robbed early Thursday evening of an iPad and an iPhone by a gun-wielding man, Nassau County police said.

The victim, who police said placed the items on the ground and fled, was uninjured.

Police said the robbery occurred at about 7:45 p.m. on Oakley Street. The suspect is described as being in his mid-20s, about 5-foot-10 with a medium build and police said he was wearing a black Under Armour shirt with a red logo.

He carried a black handgun, police said.

Police are asking anyone with information about the robbery to call Crime Stoppers at 800-244-TIPS. All calls will remain confidential.
