The $64,112.50 question: Who's got the winning Take 5 ticket sold in Massapequa?
That's a top prize from Tuesday's drawing, and the lucky winner bought it at M&B New York Liquor, where the news is slowly getting out to customers and where a customer two Christmases ago won $1 million in a $5 scratch-off game.
"They're saying, 'Let me check my ticket. Maybe I'm the winner,' " said store clerk Ravi Singh.
So far, no one's claimed the largesse from 09-10-17-22-36, but the player or players have a year to do so.
Singh hopes it's one of his regular customers.
"We have a lot of customers who play Take 5 every day," he said. "Maybe they have a better chance of winning than in Mega Millions or Powerball. That's what I think."
The store clerk said he plays Take 5 too, but he was too busy to buy one Tuesday, swamped at work after returning from Philadelphia.
Still, he can dream he bought and won.
"I just bought a truck," Singh said. "I would pay it off. No car loan for me."
The winners may claim the tickets at any one of the Lottery's Customer Service Centers statewide, including the Long Island office at 45 S. Service Rd. in Plainview and Resorts World Casino New York City on 110-00 Rockaway Blvd. in Jamaica.
