Nassau police are looking for two masked men who they said robbed a T-Mobile store in Hicksville at gunpoint Monday night.
Police said two unknown men wearing ski masks entered the store, located at 265 North Broadway as it was closing and approached a 31-year-old female employee and a 25-year-old male. The first suspect flashed a black handgun and ordered both of the victims into the back of the store, where they were forced to lay facedown on the floor as the suspects tied their hands and feet together, police said.
After getting access to a combination to the store safe, both suspects took an unknown amount of cash and left the store on foot, police said. The robbers were seen getting into a dark-colored car parked out front, which took off.
The female victim then called 911. The male victim was taken by Nassau County Police Ambulance to a nearby hospital and treated for a minor injury to his wrist.
Police said the investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information about this robbery is asked to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
