Nassau police seek Williston Park bank robber

Nassau police are looking for a man who displayed a gun while robbing a bank in Williston Park on Sunday afternoon.

The suspect entered the TD Bank branch at 700 Willis Avenue about 12:35 p.m. and "verbally announced a robbery while displaying a revolver to employees," police said.

After obtaining an undetermined amount of cash, the suspect fled on foot, police said. The three bank employees and two customers who were inside the bank at the time of the robbery were uninjured, police said.

The suspect is in his 30s, about 5 feet 10 inches tall and was wearing sunglasses, a beige fisherman's hat, a traffic vest, white shirt and gloves, police said.
