The high-tide time range for Nassau County bays is from about 7 to 9 a.m. and for Suffolk's from 9 to 10 a.m., according to the National Weather Service, which issued the statement.

Tides may be up to half a foot above normal, said Mike Layer, weather service meteorologist in Upton.
