Oyster Bay pedestrian faces life-threatening injuries in crash

A pedestrian has life-threatening injuries after being hit by a car in Oyster Bay, Nassau police said.

She was taken to a hospital as investigators shut down Pine Hollow Road near Pine Hill Terrace to determine what happened in the 2 p.m. crash, police said. The road reopened about 5:45 p.m., police said.
