Police: Employee stole cash from home at Fresh Meadow Country Club
An employee of the Fresh Meadow Country Club was arrested Wednesday, charged with stealing $1,200 in cash from the on-site residence of a club member, police said.
David B. Pierre, 27, of 41 Ponds Hill Rd., Great Neck, was arrested by Lake Success police after being caught on surveillance video entering an apartment at the private club in Lake Success without permission. Police said the victim, whose identity was not released, had previously reported $1,200 had been taken from his kitchen between Dec. 1 and 3.
Pierre was charged with second-degree burglary, third-degree burglary and fourth-degree grand larceny. He faces arraignment Thursday in First District Court in Hempstead.
