Old Country Road in Hicksville was closed in both directions during the Friday morning commute as Nassau County police investigated a motor-vehicle crash that injured a bicyclist.

Police said the accident happened at about 5:45 a.m. and that one person was taken by ambulance to a hospital.

The road was closed at Raymond Street, just east of Route 107, and reopened to traffic at about 11 a.m.; police did not immediately have more details.
