Police seek information on Uniondale shooting

Police are asking anyone with information about a shooting that left two men wounded outside a Uniondale bar early Thursday morning to call Crime Stoppers.

The shooting occurred just after 4 a.m. outside 862 Nassau Rd., Nassau County police said.

Officers on routine patrol in the area heard the gunshots and arrived to find a 30-year-old man face down in the street outside Coco's Pub with a gunshot wound to the back of the head. He was taken to a hospital in stable condition.

A second man, 31, transported himself to the hospital, police said. He had been shot once in the left thigh.

Police said no arrests have been made in the shootings.

No additional information was immediately available.
