Police are seeking three men who entered a Roosevelt Field mall store and stole several high-end watches after smashing display cases, Nassau police said.
According to detectives, the three approached two salesmen in the Tourneau store in the mall and were looking at the section featuring Rolex watches.
The three "suddenly produced hammers and began smashing several display cases," and then removing an "undetermined" number of Rolex watches, a police news release said. They fled south through Macy's, out of the mall's south entrance and were seen going into a green Ford pickup truck with gray running boards that went east on Ring Road.
One suspect is described as 20 to 30 years old, 5 feet, 8 inches to 5 feet, 10 inches tall, wearing a light colored sweatshirt with unknown lettering on front, dark pants and a skull cap. The second is described as 20 to 30 years old, with a mustache, dark skull cap and dark suede jacket. The third suspect is described as 20 to 30 years old, 6 feet, 1 inch to 6 feet, 3 inches tall, with a mustache, and wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and dark clothing.
