It's going to get soggy but not snowy this weekend.
After temperatures dip into the 20s Saturday night, rain is expected Sunday afternoon, according to the National Weather Service. Temperatures will be in the middle 40s for the afternoon and drop to the upper 30s Sunday night, but not low enough for freezing precipitate, meteorologist John Cristantello said.
"I think we're looking 1.5 to 3 inches" of rain, he said. "It could start light and becoming moderate at times."
The rain is expected to taper off overnight Sunday, but possibly return on Tuesday, he said.
