Riders question LIRR station revamp

Some riders are complaining that the $24 million overhaul of the LIRR Wantagh station is taking too long and that the quality of the repairs is shoddy. A problem with underground pipes led workers to break up a new concrete platform and then patch it, and, a recent winter storm broke the doors of a new waiting room.
