Police: Teens robbed by man, friends in Levittown home

A 19-year-old man and two 15-year-old males are under arrest after Nassau County police said they robbed another 15-year-old male at his home in Levittown on Monday afternoon.

Police said the two 15-year-olds were friends with the victim -- and helped set up the robbery. Another 15-year-old male in the house also was robbed.

Police said the robbery took place at a home on Jester Lane at about 5:15 p.m. Monday.

The 15-year-old victim and three friends, all 15, were in the house when they discovered Ronald I. Rodriguez, of 62 Forge Lane, Levittown, had entered the home and was attempting to steal a PlayStation game set.

Armed with a knife, Rodriquez demanded money from the resident and one of the other 15-year-olds, police said.

Then, police said, he fled.

During the subsequent investigation, police said, they learned that two of the 15-year-olds were involved.

They were arrested, as was Rodriguez, who was located at his home at about 9:20 p.m.

All three are charged with first-degree robbery and first-degree burglary. All face arraignment Tuesday in First District Court in Hempstead.
