Roosevelt High School celebrates graduation, renovated building

On commencement day for Roosevelt High School's Class of 2013, officials look ahead to the new academic year, when the school opens its renovated building after a $66.9-million overhaul. Some changes are in store for the Roosevelt school district beginning July 1: State oversight of the struggling district ends, and a new superintendent, Deborah Wortham, takes the reins.
