Man arrested in 3 sales of cocaine to undercover cop

A 68-year-old Westbury man was arrested Wednesday and charged with selling cocaine to an undercover Nassau County police officer on three separate occasions in October and November, police said.

Rudolph Hajarie, of 344 Winthrop St., was arrested by narcotics and vice squad detectives in Hicksville.

He was charged with three counts of third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance and three counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Police said that three times between Oct. 17 and Nov. 18, Hajarie sold cocaine to an undercover police detective.

It was not clear how much cocaine was allegedly sold during the transactions -- or how much money was exchanged.

Hajarie is to be arraignment Thursday in First District Court in Hempstead.
