Shots fired in Baldwin driveway robbery

First Squad detectives are investigating a robbery Wednesday in Baldwin in which the suspects fired multiple gunshots, Nassau County police said.

No one was injured in the robbery, which netted the two suspects only a watch, police said.

At least one shot was fired when the suspects struggled with two male victims, and two more shots were fired at the victims when the suspects ran off, police said.

Detectives said the two male victims, ages 22 and 25, were getting items from a vehicle parked in the driveway on Stratford Road at about 10:50 p.m.

Two men approached the victims and demanded the items from the vehicle, said police. One of the suspects displayed a black handgun, police said.

After a struggle between the four, one shot went off, police said. After the suspects took a watch from one of the victims, they ran off, firing two more rounds.

Anyone with information can call Crime Stoppers at 800-244-8477. All calls will be kept confidential.
