State Police: Two from Nassau face charges in upstate robbery

Two Nassau County men are among three people who face charges in connection with a forcible robbery last week at a train station in upstate Croton Falls, State Police said.

Ronnie E. Foskey, 21, of Roslyn, and Sean M. McCoyd, 22, of Garden City, were arrested with Michael Owoo, 21, of North Salem, after the 7:50 p.m. robbery on Oct. 7, police said.

All three were charged with second-degree robbery. Owoo was remanded to Westchester County jail in lieu of $15,000 bail, while Foskey was held on $2,000 bail.

Police said McCoyd was released after posting $500 bail.

Police said Owoo and Foskey "forcibly stole" property from a victim at the Croton Falls train station then fled in a car driven by McCoyd.

The victim knew Owoo, police said, and contacted 911. Officers from the North Salem Police Department found the vehicle nearby and arrested both Foskey and McCoyd.

Police said Owoo had fled the vehicle before the stop, but was later caught.

It was not immediately clear if any of the men are represented by counsel and it also was not clear when Owoo, Foskey or McCoyd are due in court.
