Suspect sought in gunpoint robbery of convenience store in North New Hyde Park

Nassau County police are seeking the public's help in finding a man who robbed a North New Hyde Park convenience store Thursday.

Police said the man entered the Grab and Go at 272-10 Union Tpke. at about 11:30 p.m. and displayed a silver revolver in his waistband to the clerk. The clerk complied with the man's request for money and the man fled southbound on Lakeville Road on foot with an undetermined amount of cash.

The man is described at 5-foot-6 tall with a black shirt, black pants, black hat and black scarf.

No injuries were reported.
