Teens charged after throwing rocks at cars

Three teen boys throwing rocks at cars on the Southern State Parkway were nabbed after one of the boys threw a rock at a marked Nassau County police car, police said Thursday.

State Police said the boys - two 17-year-olds and a 15-year-old, all from Levittown - hit six cars around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday on the eastbound Southern State near the Wantagh Avenue exit. They got caught when an officer saw the 15-year-old throw a rock at his police cruiser, police said.

No one was injured in any of the incidents, police said.

Police arrested Dylan Rouzier of Sunrise Lane, Devin Perry of Sleat Lane and the 15-year-old, whose name and address were not released because of his age. All three were charged with six counts each of first-degree reckless endangerment and criminal mischief, with the 15-year-old charged as a juvenile. They were all scheduled for arraignment Wednesday.

Nassau police also charged the 15-year-old, State Police said. Those charges were not immediately available.
