Two teenagers were charged with robbery Saturday after their victim spotted them on the same Lakeview street where they robbed him last month, authorities said.
According to Nassau police, Phillip Smith of Lynbrook and Kadeem Thompson of Queens, both 18, threatened the 15-year-old victim with a knife and stole his cash on the evening of May 25. The incident happened on Jefferson Avenue around 6:30 p.m., police said.
Then, on Friday, the victim, who was not identified, spotted Smith and Thompson on the same street and called police, who arrested the pair, according to a Nassau police news release.
Smith, of 106 Ocean Ave., and Thompson, of 237-03 129th Ave. in Rosedale, were scheduled to be arraigned on first-degree robbery charges Saturday at First District Court in Hempstead, authorities said.
Information about the arraignment was not immediately available.
