Nassau police are looking for two men who robbed a New Hyde Park bank on Friday afternoon.

Police said the men entered the Valley National Bank branch at 699 Hillside Ave. at 4:03 p.m. and each handed a note demanding cash to tellers.

The tellers handed over an undetermined amount of cash, and the suspects fled on foot westbound on Hillside Avenue, police said.

Both suspects are described as being in their 40s and wearing gray baseball caps and gloves, police said. The first suspect was also described as being 6 feet tall and having facial hair. He was wearing dark sunglasses, a gray T-shirt, a red long-sleeved shirt and dark pants, police said.

The second suspect was further described as wearing gold-framed bifocal glasses, a blue-hooded sweatshirt and dark-colored pants.

There were seven employees in the bank at the time of the robbery. No one was hurt, police said.

Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
