A Westbury man who police said has repeatedly stolen items from a Target store was arrested Friday at the store, according to police.

John McCallum, 43, of Marilyn Lane, had gone to the Target Store at 3850 Hempstead Tpke. in Levittown on Monday and Thursday, stealing assorted merchandise including two televisions, two vacuum cleaners and a camera, police said.

Store loss-prevention officers who had previously arrested McCallum in October 2008 discovered the thefts.

McCallum was charged with two counts of third-degree burglary and trespassing. He is scheduled to be arraigned in First District Court in Hempstead on Saturday.
