Bellerose Terrace

A 2005 Honda Odyssey was discovered stolen on Superior Road Jan. 13.

East Garden City

The steering wheel of a 1997 Honda was damaged Jan. 15 while the vehicle was parked on the third deck of the JCPenney's lot at Roosevelt Field mall.

Garden City Park

A pocketbook was stolen at a workplace on Jericho Turnpike Jan. 16.

Glen Cove

A 19-year-old man was arrested Jan. 11 on a warrant for an open container of alcohol and for littering.

A man, 56, was arrested on Avalon Square Jan. 14 and charged with second-degree aggravated harrassment.


A house on Second Street was burglarized Jan. 11. A TV, a PlayStation and a lock box containing $3,000 were stolen.

A 2007 Suzuki motorcycle was discovered stolen on Clinton Avenue Jan. 14.

New Cassel

A man was assaulted and robbed at Fourth Avenue and Sixth Street Jan. 13. He was kicked and punched several times and knocked unconscious. When he awoke his cell phone, cigarettes and $300 were missing.

New Hyde Park

Two hundred dollars were stolen Jan. 12 from a wallet locked in a locker at L.A. Fitness on Marcus Avenue.

On Jan. 16, a man followed two 12-year-old girls on Lakeville Road. When the girls ran, the suspect ran after them. The victims stopped at a house where the homeowner called police. The man is described as thin, bald and between 50 and 60 years old.

North New Hyde Park

A wallet was stolen from an automobile on Herricks Road Jan. 14.


A 16-year-old male was arrested at Syosset High School Jan. 15 and charged with criminal sale of marijuana.


A house on Mist Lane was burglarized Jan. 16. An iPod, Xbox games, coins and $55 were stolen.

A woman was assaulted and robbed on Post Avenue Jan. 12. She was kicked and punched, and a diamond earring was stolen from her shirt pocket.

A 2009 Nissan Altima was stolen from Corporate Drive on Jan. 14.

A female victim was robbed at gunpoint on Irving Street Jan. 16. An unknown male suspect displayed a gun and demanded her pocketbook. He then jumped into the back of a nearby automobile and was driven away.

Two New Jersey women were arrested at a Holiday Inn on Old Country Road on prostitution charges Jan. 15.
