Did your Long Island neighborhood support the same candidate for governor that you did?

Find out using our interactive map, which shows which election districts went for Republican challenger Rob Astorino in red, and those that helped push Democratic Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo to a second term in blue. The incumbent won Nassau County by nine percentage points, but his GOP foe prevailed in Suffolk by one point.

A darker shade shows where Cuomo or Astorino won by more than 20 points. In gray areas the candidates were even.

App users, tap on the above link to see the election districts that Astorino carried, from Oyster Bay to Southampton, and those where Cuomo was on top, from Hempstead to Southold.

You can also search by location to drill down for election results — including the votes claimed by Howie Hawkins of the Green Party, Michael McDermott of the Libertarian Party and Steve Cohn, who ran on the Sapient Party line.
