A state hotline will be in operation Tuesday to help resolve any problems at polling places during the primary election, Attorney General Eric Schneiderman said.

Voters having a problem can call 800-771-7755 between 6 a.m. and 9 p.m.

The hotline will be staffed by attorneys and staff in the office’s Civil Rights Bureau, which will also deal with barriers encountered by voters with disabilities, voter intimidation reports and other issues faced by minority voters, Schneiderman said.

The attorney general’s office has operated the hotline since November 2012.
