Looks like a pretty slow day ahead at the Nassau County Legislature. The biggest item is not on the agenda. It’s still sitting in the clerk’s office waiting to be put on the calender.
That item deals with a proposal by CE Edward Mangano to float bonds, backed by property tax revenue, to redevelop the Coliseum site and a broad area around it. See that story here.
There was a brief flurry of interest late Wednesday when the clerk’s office added a last-minute item to the agenda, but it turned out to be about fixing a stretch of Jackson Avenue in Syosset that has been notable for potholes and accidents for a long time. See that story here.
