Blakeman boasts upstate R and C endorsements

The U.S. Senate campaign of Bruce Blakeman, former Nassau president officer, announced his endorsement by John DeSpirito III, chairman of the Onondaga County Republican Committee.

Thomas B. Cook, chairman of the Monroe County Conservative Party, also endorsed him.

“The endorsements of these respected party leaders demonstrate that I have strong support throughout the state,” Blakeman said in a news release.

Blakeman also touted an eight-point rise in his poll numbers as posted by the Marist institute.

The poll showed Gillibrand for the moment leading Blakeman 52-30 in a head-to-head matchup.
