Latest from Steve Levy, gubernatorial candidate:
Republican Gubernatorial candidate Steve Levy joined a panel of state leaders and candidates today to address New York voters’ most pressing concerns. Hosted by Newsday, News 12 and Hofstra University, the forum, titled Renew New York: Looking Forward with New York’s Leaders, was the first in a series of events meant to educate and engage New Yorkers about issues facing the state.
Gubernatorial candidates Andrew Cuomo and Rick Lazio declined requests to attend and address the issues identified as the most critical to New Yorkers in a poll conducted by Princeton Research Survey Associates International.
“It is just plain wrong that these two are once again refusing to stand before voters and openly and constructively address the issues most important to them,” said Levy. “To me it is a great privilege and opportunity to be able to let people know how I will help save New York State and make their lives better.”
