Lazio on Levy: A liberal, less than loyal, with livid language

Steve Levy’s cursing in private and calling out of detractors came out years ago in the transcripts of a criminal case that caught up Wayne Prospect and Steve Baranello.
Here’s a comprehensive revival via Liz B., from the Lazio camp, which is looking to turn Levy unacceptable to those in the GOP and Conservative Parties who control the key nominations he seeks.
Also today, Levy skeptics on both sides of the abortion debate were moving around the same question posed by Kelli Conlin of Pro Choice New York:
“How can someone with a consistent 100 percent pro-choice voting record and a 100 percent pro-choice questionnaire - including his support of a health exception for late-term abortions- be considered as a candidate by the Conservative party?”
Then there’s the March 2009 letter touting a health program in which “Mr. Anti-Illegal-Immigration” as he’s seen by fans and critics notes that “you do not need to be a citizen to apply, but you need to live in Suffolk County.”
Two ways to look at this in the tactical world: Good for Levy it flows now before the campaign heats up, or bad for Levy it flows now before he can win statewide recognition and define himself on his own terms.
Fair or not, this dark-side-of-Levy stuff has just begun on the Web and elsewhere.
