Nassau County Legislature gets a new clerk

The new clerk of the Nassau County Legislature is William J. Muller III, a resident of East Rockaway.

Muller, 38, gets a salary of $109,200 in his new post, a nice raise from the $83,500 he got as a deputy town attorney for the Republican-run Town of Hempstead.

Yes. He’s a lawyer.

Yes. He went to Hofstra Law, whose graduates seem to be doing very well these days, now that Hofstra Law alum (1987) Edward Mangano is the Nassau County executive.
