Sen. Schneiderman camp: Rice slam "sad"

Nassau DA Kathleen Rice's shot at  fellow AG hopeful Sen. Eric Schneiderman (D-Manhattan) prompted this tart reply from the senator's spokesman  Eric Koch:

“It's sad that Kathleen Rice has decided to start this campaign by launching negative, personal attacks. That is exactly the kind of politics as usual that the voters reject. Instead, we hope she will join Eric and the leaders of New York's progressive reform movement who endorsed him today in a debate about who has the best vision of how the attorney general's office can help the working men and women of New York.”

Her whack at his announcing before the job is "open" also brought to some minds the letter below dated April 6 soliciting support from state Democratic Committee members  for her own campaign. It is on Kathleen Rice- Att Gen. letterhead.
