That was high-powered lawyer and Edward Mangano pal William Savino hunching against the cold wind and tiptoeing around icy spots Thursday morning as left the Theodore Roosevelt Executive and Legislative Building in Mineola.
Savino is managing partner at Rifkind Radler — the Uniondale law firm where Mangano worked until he became county executive at the beginning of the year.
Another lawyer at the firm, Patrick Foye, is on leave from the firm’s Manhattan offices to help Mangano reform the county’s property tax assessment system.
Savino was, “Saying hello. That's all,” Mangano spokesman Michael Martino said.
